Society Partnerships
We invite societies and academic groups worldwide to collaborate with The Scalpel as content partners. Partner organisations will be given their own custom issue in The Scalpel. Submissions will undergo rigorous, double-blind peer review by the journal's reviewers. Submissions include abstracts to be presented at conferences, essay prizes, or insights arising from the society’s events and will be processed using the journal's portal powered by Oxford Abstracts. To help cover the costs of operating the journal, a partnership fee applies. Details of our article processing charges are provided below. Journal Partnerships
We are currently in discussions with several esteemed surgical journals regarding a potential partnership. We believe journal partnerships are key to ensuring our journal meets the rigorous academic standards expected in medical research. We welcome sponsors involved in all aspects of surgery and education. By sponsoring our journal, you will be supporting future academic voices by ensuring the journal remains accessible to all students.
